Charity Beneficiary

Victoria Hospice is designated as the charity-of-choice for the Jaguar Car Club of Victoria, and as a non-profit registered under the Societies Act the JCCV has chosen Victoria Hospice as the designated recipient from profits from our annual Jaguars on the Island (JOTI) event.

Victoria Hospice, since 1980,

… has provided end-of-life care focused on palliative treatment. Hospice nurses, counsellors, spiritual caregivers, physicians and trained volunteers provide comfort for patients and support for their families, rather than a cure for progressive and life-limiting illness.

Victoria Hospice helps people find a way through the overwhelming emotions and practical realities of coping with a life-limiting illness … to reach a level of acceptance that allows them and their loved ones to make the most of whatever time remains.

Hospice Donation 2023
Carley Wachtin of Victoria Hospice accepts a donation of $3,464.75 from the Jaguar Car Club of Victoria.  Presenting the donation on behalf of the club is our Hospice Liaison, Isabel Weeks, and Treasurer Bob Baynton. The donation was raised from contributions made by JOTI registrants and the sale of silent auction donated items. The presentation took place at the Hospice Administration office at the Royal Jubilee Hospital on October 25, 2023
