1967 420G For Sale

1967 Jaguar 420G. Well maintained, preservation class vehicle. One family owned since new. Original paint, chrome, interior, engine, transmission, glass etc.

51,000 miles. All matching numbers. 4.2 L DOHC inline six 265 HP. Triple HD8 SU carburetors. Independent suspension. Limited slip differential. Four wheel disc brakes. Inboard mounted rear disc brakes. Power windows. Twin 10 gallon gas tanks with dash board controlled switch. Complete original half moon toolkit. Documentation includes original operating, maintenance and service handbook. Jaguar service manual and spare parts catalogue. Jaguar Heritage Certificate 37912. Beautiful ride and handling. Excellent example of Jaguar's grace, pace and space. One of only 1125 LHD Jaguar 420Gs built.

The car was appraised on June 2/24. Some highlights of the appraisal are: Engine bay: "quite tidy and houses 4.2 6 cylinder featuring triple carburation which has it running beautifully." Chassis Detail: "The chassis and floor pans are all excellent with no signs of rust or patching throughout". "This all rides on a color matched set of correct factory steel wheels with the correct hub caps and trim rings in excellent condition". Interior Detail: "luxurious burnt orange leather interior is factory original and stunning throughout". "The original wood dash face and trim, wooden door trim, rear fold down personal trays, headliner and carpet are excellent". Exterior Detail: "The exterior is breathtaking with the body lines laser straight, the fit of the panels excellent with the factory original paint... absolutely rust free". "the chrome that surrounds the door glass, vent windows, the bumpers, grille, light bezels and other bright work is all original and excellent". Overview & Conclusions: "The condition of the car is truly excellent. The body is outstanding particularly being original paint. The interior is original and stunning".
